[Tsawwassen, BC, Canada May 23,2025] – Central Walk Canada Group today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 28 Hudson’s Bay store locations in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. Pursuit of this milestone transaction underscores the group’s deep commitment to the Canadian retail industry and represents a significant achievement in its ongoing strategic expansion. Completion of the transaction is subject to applicable landlord consents
and/or court approval and other term and conditions contained in the agreement.

Under the leadership of Ms. Ruby Liu, Chairwoman of Central Walk, the store locations will be transformed into modern department stores, bridging the gap between generations, providing immersive shopping experiences, and becoming a destination where all age groups thrive together.

Employment opportunities will be prioritized for former employees of Hudson’s Bay in Central Walk’s hiring process. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting individuals and families and contributing to local communities. In addition, priority will also be given to suppliers and vendors who previously partnered with Hudson’s Bay, as we aim to preserve trusted relationships and maintain business continuity wherever possible.
